The Montessori Primary learning environment is intended to give each child the confidence to learn about their environment through experiment and movement. Each child works on self-directed, non-competitive activities that help them develop self-esteem, confidence, decision-making and problem solving skills. The learning environment includes a wide range of subject matter, from biology to music to mathematics, both indoors and outdoors. The Primary learning environment also consists of multi-aged groups which allow children to learn from each other.
